My PS3 turns off (no red light or light at all) after about 15 minutes of gamesplay. I opened it up and cleaned the fan and interior, but it still turns off. Doesn't matter what game is played. I will try a movie and see what happens.

Ya, it shuts off on Blu Ray movies also.

I put arctic silver 5 on the heatsinks, and still shuts off after 15 minutes

Hard reset your ps3. Search it on google, that sucks no one has replied. This forum is dead for ps3 stuff, go somewhere else
