Hi

I am very interested in teaching myself Python almost solely for the ability to create scripts for XBMC and initially to be able to edit the menu.xml file of the Ooba script to include new sites of my choosing.

Can anyone suggest any good places to start with self paced training on these topics so I don't end up learning a whole load of stuff I really don't need for the task at hand.
