I upgraded my ancient PC and now I need to upgrade my IDE DVD+R to a SATA drive. I have been using NEC/Sony optiarc drives with Dee and Liggys F/W and they have been perfect. Now I cant seem to find a SATA drive that has bitsetting and booktype F/W hacks available. What SATA drives are ppl using that are working? The 2 Optiarc SATA drives that newegg has now are not support by Liggy/Dee because they are re-badged Lite-On drives and I cant find any F/W hacks for the new Sata Lite-Ons at all. Can anyone give me some Sata drives that have F/W hacks that work?
