Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could help me with a couple problems and questions.
I just upgraded my hard drive to 160 GB with a known compatible drive.
I am running a 1.0 box with a Xenium ICE.
Before the upgrade everything was working fine.
I could boot the original dash with the power button, or boot with the eject button to my XOS and select either the original retail bios or the EvolutionX Build 3935.

I upgraded the drive as mentioned before, and formatted / rebuilt the drive with Slayers 2.7 disc.
I can still boot to my XOS if I hold the eject button for 3 seconds.
But my original bios gives me an error code when I boot with the power button.
I have my network working and can FTP to the box.

Heres my questions:
1. Is there a way to make the unit boot to EVOX without having to go through the XOS menu?
2. Was there ever an update to the xenium ICE core bios?
3. Most of my games are backed up in ISO format,...does anyone have a copy of XIT they can share? (xbox iso transfer) smile.gif
Thanks!
Heimdall
You probably don't have your dash in the right place on the new drive. There's no guarantee that Slayers and your BIOS have the same view of where the dash should be!

Put the original disk back in and find your dash location, and put the dash in the same place (and with the same name) on your new disk.

Great idea, I will do that and post back results.
Any idea on the XIT proggie? I have looked in all the usual places with no luck only downed links.
Thanks again.

It's available in the usual places......!
