I was considering the possibilities of writing code to various parts of a game via a softmodded xb1, then connecting via system link to a 360 running the same game. I was wondering if this would be a viable way of an overflow, or atleast control over the emulator system within the 360. (could still be very useful.) without triggering the hypervisor.
it may not be full system access in terms of the progress made with nand/flash dumping and kernel downgrades, but the idea of opening up the emulator portion of the system to atleast allow access to xbmc or or possibly a homebrew dashboard within the emulator.
when 360 was first released, people quickly dismissed the importance of access to the backwards compatibility system, but where flaws once existed, some will always remain. i think this might be key to opening up the full potential of 360 homebrew.
as of the moment, my idea is purely conceptual, but over the next several months whenever i have time i'll experiment with my code ideas that seem logical.
also, if anyone else notices the potential behind this, feel free to try for yourself.
i recommend conker: live and reloaded for the first step, if/until i'm proven otherwise.
