my xbox 360 automatically restarts after i switch different channels on my t.v.

i used 2 run my 360 through a vga switch box along with my pc and then through the vga on my 32" tv.then my 360 suddently decided enough woz enough.so i bought a new 1 with the hdmi port.there woz no need 2 buy an hdmi lead because i had 1 for my hd dvd player.everything woz fine for the hd dvd player,but for sum reason if im on my 360 and i switch over 2 my sky and then switch back,my 360 restarts itself.

so i got sky+hd on saturday there and as i only have 1 hdmi input on my tv i bought an hdmi selector but wen i have both hd source's on at once,and i switch from sky 2 my 360 it still restarts.

im not sure which model my 360 is but it's one of the newest with the inbuilt 216mb of internel memory.

its a bit shit if i have a few active downloads or im chatin 2 sum1 over live if i it resarts wen i switch from sky 2 my 360.

has any1 got any idea's wot the feck is goin on?????

I'm not sure but something similar happened to me when too much power was being drawn from a single socket, so if this is the case for you then try splitting them up between more wall sockets

Try a new socket !
