A guy at work has an Xbox 360 with a DVD drive that doesnt work that he is willing to sell me cheap. Since he doesnt know I will ask here.

Can I use this to stream movies from my PC to my TV with this without the DVD drive working?

Buy it for sure. Maybe if the dvd drive isn't 2 messed up, you can extract the key and place a drive in. Now you having a working console that is capable of playing games along with movies etc.
