OK, you guys have been a big help thus far and now I have another question. I have seen topics on Iextreme, iprep and so on. Just wondering what is the diffrence between all of them and , in your opinion, which is the easiest and most effective way to flash a Benq. Thanks for your help

I'm biast towards JungleFlasher for flashing, so that's got my vote.
Iprep isn't actually a flashing tool, it just "prepares" your drive with the necessary boot files, which can easily be done otherwise. The actual Program is called DosFlash.
JungleFlasher is a windows based GUI system, where as DosFlash is a dos/text based system.
Whilst DOSFLASH has its advantages, mostly being that it doesnt use drivers or isnt as reliant on drivers unlike Windows, but JungleFlasher is a far more simple being GUI based. It's also much easier to "troubleshoot" sometimes.

for the most part they all work pretty good, it comes down to user preference in the end...either that or have someone do the mod for you
