Hey all, I had an xbox that had a motherboard that went completely dead (x-clamp didn't save the day) and so I ordered one with a working board, and the guy sent the dvd key board. I put the new board in just by removing the backplate and the system boots up fine, but when I put a disc in, I get a white screen that says please insert a disc into your xbox 360.

Naturally I wondered if maybe the board sent was an ms 25 one (original was ms 28 but shouldn't matter because the new board would be matching up with the dvd key board sent with it). Everything looks idential so maybe it is ms28. The only differences I could find were on the main chips. The old board has MT1359SE 0639-AUBL GCZ22004. The one that came with the board is MT 1359SE 0640-AUBL GZC32004. They both have the isd prints that are slightly different too. Could anyone direct me how to get this thing working? Do you think I might need a replacement drive? The drive used to work perfectly, and when the screen appears when I eject the disc still spins, so maybe the drive just has a mounting issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is the only thing stopping me from enjoying my xbox again. Thanks!
