my pc is hooked up to my xbox through a linksys befsr41 router.
evox settings:
"type: dhcp"
"ip: 192.168.1.103"
"use static ip: no"
"ip: 192.168.0.3"
"subnetmask: 255.255.255.0"
"default gateway: 192.168.0.5"
"dns: 0.0.0.0"
"dns: 0.0.0.0"
i tried ftp'ing to 192.168.1.103 AND 192.168.0.3 both with "xbox" as name and pass. the .103 ip says "wrong password" and the .3 ip wont connect and times out.
what could be wrong?
im using flashfxp

I assume you can ping the xbox fine ...
Try making the ip static, with your linksys, any number between *.*.*.2-99 should work fine.
Also, if you have to you dhcp (I'm not a fan for xbox), I would recommend finding a skin that shows your ip until you get things working the way you want.

The default password should be "xbox", unless you changed it. When you say you changed the password to xbox, did you do this in the evox.ini file? That is where the password is set. I believe you can also do it from the dashboard, just make sure you save and exit.
