Am i banned from xbox live, i have not modded my 360 and was fine up until today havent been on live for a week tried today and no joy keeps sayin stuff about a static i.p.

and resolving my dns?

no you're not banned, you need to unplug your router/modem for 1 minute and then turn it back on, then it should work. If you're running your connection through your computer that might have something to do with it too, but try unplugging your router/modem first.

if you get banned, it will actually say something along the lines of "your account has been banned for... until..."

yes i am running connection through computer as its that wireless 3 shite broadband i have, treid unplugging
and alsorts i just cant seem to get it working, changed antivirus from norton to eset nod32 could that have anything to do with it, thanks for reply by the way

Does the "untill" part apply to them catching you with a modded console?

As far as I have read, you are not told that you are banned if your console is banned (which is being caught with a modded xbox). It only tells you that if your account is banned (that is, harassing people, cheating, etc).
