As the title says above, list the type of drive your 360 has and what brand of DL dvds you use.

I was at best buy earlier and I saw a spindle of Sony DL DVDS on sale. They were 25 for $19.99. Have any of you guys ever burned with them? So far these memorex have a mind of their own! Its like sometimes the games work and sometimes they don't spin at all!

for example:

360 drives...

LiteOn
Samsung
Hitachi

DL DVDs

TDK
Memorex
Verbatim
Sony

Maybe it really does depend on your dvd burner then. My sony burning onto 8x DVDs didn't work for anything. Or maybe its the combo of your burner and your 360 drive.

It actually depends on your xbox 360s tolerance level.

BenQ-Verbatim only-iX1.5
Samsung-anything-iX1.5

LG SATA dvd burner not sure of model, but it was purchased near the end of last year. All discs bitset to dvd-rom before burning.

Really? Because I'm running a samsung with IX 1.5 and its been having trouble reading memorex 8x cds that I burned at 2.4x, 4x, and 8x. But when I burned with 2.4x dvds no problems at all.

What do you mean bitset? I usually just use IMGBURN, Cookies, or Clone CD. I download my isos then burn them. Do you rip your own?

How do I check if they are locked? I've never heard of bitsetting until now.

Talking about downloaded games is against the rules. He is referring to the thread getting locked. And yes, i rip my own games to keep my originals happy.
