I was wondering, if you run your xbox live connection through your computer would it be possible to make the connection first check a website that tells it weather a new ban wave has it or not, and if it hasn't it allows the xbox 360 to connect to live?

the website would have to be manualy updated when large amounts of bans are happening, but would it be possible? I know a little html and php so...

well you could just keep a check on this site it is usually posted when a ban wave is going on. But to use that info to keep from getting banned would not help because MS collects info and decides to ban people before th wave even starts. If you didnt get banned and were supposed to it would just happen the next time you connect to live.

oh, so sort of off topic, but could I use non stealh patched games whilce not conntected to live, rip it to my hdd, and use the real game for disc authentication while on line?

I want to use custom guitar hero songs, and I legitamitly own the game so all I really need to do is rip the game to the hdd.
