ok, so i have a spare xbox 360 with a Benq drive. (no key)
i have it flashed with the 0800 firmware.
it is powered by my 360.
i am using XBC 2.8 build 275
i can start a dump on a game, but for some reason, my 360 will power off.

i have my drive hooked up to my Pc via sata.
i also tried schtrom360extract as well, and i get the same results.
the whole time i have my 360 on and my drive connected - i have a constant green flashing light on my 360.

any suggestions?
also, i have the blaster360 NE, but its not hooked up.

any help is appreciated.

connect AV cable to xbox console... cables do not need to be connected to TV/Receiver...

Have you made sure to leave the AV cable connected to the back of the 360?

If you have the blaster360 I would very much recommend using it, it's a great little gadget. Here are the instructions on installing and operating it.

Are you sure that the sata chipset in your pc is a compatible one? If you're not sure maybe look into getting a pci via vt6421 sata card.

oh man.
thanks for the polite replies guys.
i was waiting to get flamed lol.
i think you guys are right about the AV cables.
i didnt have the cable plugged in.
im testing it now with the cables plugged in.
i really appreciate you guys helping me.

and yes. i do have the correct chipset.
i used it to flash both of my 360's (iPrep and jungleflasher methods)
but i was an idiot and erased my benq firmware before backing up my drive key.
now i have a 360 made for just baking up with the 0800 firmware lol.
ill report back in after i test out my 360 again with the AV cables connected..
thanks again!
