X-Scene BlackOut
Posted by XanTium | March 26 16:30 EST | News Category: OffTopic
As you might or might not have noticed all X-Scene/Scenyx services were offline for the last 28h or so. Together with the help of some great people we did everything we could to restore normal operation as soon as possible.
News posts will restore shortly. Njoy your stay and we'll do our best to avoid another outage like this.

Done and should be done on a regular basis to help the scene.

Tell me where you work and I can have them add it to their list.

I know the Scenyx name servers were unreachable effectively knocking the xbox-scene.com domain off of the internet.
As for the outage itself we'll have to wait and see if anyone lets us know if it was hardware / network related.
Welcome Back X-S!

Definitely!
I was missing my daily hit of X-S, I was having withdrawl symptoms. As far as Xbox news goes, this is definitely the place to watch!

certainly surprised me...
I got about a dozen emails asking me what happened... I don't know why people asked me, I still don't know what happened

i'm sure Xbox-scene will never let that happen again. I do not remember this place being off for that long. It's weird. The uptime is like 99.999% usually. Maybe the digital backbone that the ISP is connected to got attacked. Had to be physically cut. Construction in the area? Who knows. Maybe Chancer knows.
