agreed. Win-based tools are nice n dandy, and if they work for you, by all means go for it. I myself like using dosflash because:
1: Cuts down on possible conflicts.
2: The dos-based tools have been tried and tested over a period of time (by that I mean longer then a month or two).
3: Many Win-based tools dont like Win7, which I am currently running
4: Even before in Vista, I could never get win-based tools to really work right with my ICH9 chipset, while in dos it was never an issue.
I do have a question regarding dos-based tools tho, and that is, "is there a drive that can't be flashed in dos?"
