I just got this refurbished 360 back from m$ due to the 3rlod on my previous. I flashed it to 1.51 And have been playing games on it for about a month straight. Every now and then when i put in a disc it would make very strange noises and then say "mixed media or would just say open tray" Now a month went by and evertime I put in a game "original or backup" it either says mixed media or just says open tray. I took it all apart and cleaned the lens and that didn't help...

What seems to be wrong? I hear the game loading when its in but will not load anymore...

Do you hear it spin up. if not motor has died. Other wise it will be the laser. You can try a pot adjustment which might bring some more life out of it or replace the laser or whole drive.

Yeah, it still spins up, so assuming it's the laser... Is there a good tutorial for the pot tweak?

Update - I did the Pot adjustment... Works like a charm now.
