Comes out to just under $600. I would maybe like to go Crossfire with another 4870 in the future. I didn't think that DDR3 would be a big boost in speed. So, I went with a cheaper motherboard and cheaper RAM.

I have a 2048x1152 monitor, so I need a strong GPU to push it.

Does anyone have any advice before I click "Buy Me?"

How big of a hard drive are you putting in it?

I have a SATA3 250GB that I am going to reuse.

I have a strong dislike for AMD processors..... irrational perhaps, but I have come to accept that. I do, however love Asus mobos.

I understand your feelings. Is there an i7 or another good chip in this price range? I do not like ATi, so I would rather go with Intel and use nVidia.

I ended up buying an Asus Crosshair II Formula

So, that means I can hold off on getting a video card until later. It has an 8300 integrated. So, I am just going to buy an AMD Phenom II X4 940

Same PSU and Same RAM as above.
