i got 4 as-is 360's off ebay pretty cheap...

1 is rrod(already x-clamped(rather poorly i might add)). tried to reflow and add hybrid x-clamp but i think its just dead..

1 was e74 but reflowed and added x-clamp kit and its working atm..

2 wont read discs. i tried swithcing the drives around since theyre both benqs and switched the drive pcb so i guess my ques5tions start here. is the pcb in the drive what ive seen referred to as the drive "chip"? one of the 2 had e64 but has since stopped.. im pretty sure it could be firmware related but are there things i can check? maybe see if the firmware is reflashable? sorry for the noobish questions but ive never had to deal with the software side of things. i usually just do case mods.
