OK, I understand that to use xlink kai one MUST have the tunneling software installed and running. But, I cant seem to find definitive confirmation of this. I've seen some people imply it isn't necessary, but they don't come out and say it.
Can I get someone who can give me a definite yay or nay on this issue? Thanks.

I haven't messed with it in a while, but if I remember correctly, you need the software running on your PC, or directly on your router. DD-WRT.com has a version with Kai built in.

either have it running on your pc, or log into via xbmc.

In order for Kai to work, even from your Xbox, you must have Kai's tunneling client running on another machine in your network.
I had no idea about DD-WRT having Kai though. I'll probably look into this. Thanks for the info!
