Hello,

I have been thinking a while to re utilize my old xbox as a emulation station since I don't use xbmc too much on it anymore due to its HD restrains.

I would like to create a .xbe launcher (or does it already exist?) that allows me to create something like this:

Note that this a 2 minute knockup, but the idea should be clear.
You move the box with your controller and use the A button the click on the system you would like to start. From thereon It loads the .xbe assigned to that logo.

For example NES should load FCEUltraX. Sega should load NeoGenesis, etc, etc.

Is there something like this already possible by skinning a previous dashboard?
If not, how does one create such a thing?

Thank you in advance!

Regards,

Dennis
Zelgadis
looks and sound like a PSP/PS3 XMB concept.
i dont know if anything that simulate this, but if xbmc try to skin sny xmb then you're a step closer

Well its not really XMB since it will just consist of the buttons for the systems you need tongue.gif

This is what I eventually settled for:

Its a UnleashX skin biggrin.gif
You can download it here:

By the way, the only problem I have is that the navigation assumes up/down instead of left/right. Does anyone know how I can configure it to work left/right? Horizontal=true in the skin.xml doesn't seem to work since its a free form menu. Is there a way to edit the keymappings?

Thanks,

Dennis
