what would an xbox dev kit (not the debug kit, but the dev kit with the clear top) be worth if it didn't come with the Raptor XDK-DVD DVD Emulator kit ?

I'm looking into buying one but it doesn't have the Raptor XDK-DVD DVD Emulator kit so I don't want to rip myself off.

Unless you collect such items, it isn't much more than an ordinary unit with 128MB ram installed.

It also has a different MCPX and it has a debug bios instead of a retail one.

Also, everything is prepared to make it possible to reflash the onboard TSOP flash.
(A couple of jumper links that don't exist on the retail unit.)

If you intend to develop software for the xbox, you don't really need such a unit.

But, as I mentionned already, it is a collectors item.

Raptor Dvd Cards sell for alot less than 200usd.

30 to to 50usd is what they sell for,plus the one on ebay does not even come with the original 20gb hdd which would make it complete.
