Full Version: Burned Dvd Is Different Than The Iso?

I am running all my backed up games through "verify" in XBC and ImgBurn.

For some reason, about half my discs have mismatching sectors between the ISO and the burnt disc

I am using Pioneer 216 with Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL discs (burned at 2.4x).

Is there anything that can be causing this? or is this "normal"?

Thanks for the help!

Lots of things can cause bad sectors on the disk, such as.
dust on laser or bottom of disk.
finger prints on disk.
poor quality disk.
poor quality burner.
bearings going out in burner.
computer being bumped as burning (can including the shaking from walking past it or even the cpu fan if its bearing are going out)

small errors wont cause to much fuss towards the playing of the game but if it can be helped it a good idea to leave the room while its burning at make sure your computer doesnt have a screen saver or anti virus that is going to start.
