Full Version: Bioses With Force480p Over Component Support?

I connect my Xbox 1 to my TV by component cables from my HD pack.

Although some games output at 480p (some at 720p), there are many that are 480i only. For these to look good on a HDTV they need a Force480p (over HD component) bios! I was surprised how much difference it makes.

I'm lucky in that Frosty custom made me a 5035 bios with Force480p over component output. My question is: is this unique? Are there other bioses with this feature?

For softmods using Nkpatcher, you can turn on/off the force480p

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer. Can I use that softmod on my hardmodded xbox, or does that not make sense?

Boot with chip turned on to install Kingroach's Ndure over ftp. Boot with chip off and use ndts (e:\ndts\default.xbe) and change nkpatcher settings for the force480p setting.
