Hi all i was wondering how to mod the GDR-3120L Rom 0047DJ Drive.

The problem is i only have a laptop, so the VIA Sata trick is out the question, Is it poss to use a generic USB-SATA converter from ebay to flash this drive?

Also whats the best firmware for this drive?

Iv heard nothing but problems with usb to sata, Just borrow a friends computer for 10mins.

I agree.

It does not take a fast PC so just about any old PC with a SATA port should work.
