Well, I was able to pull the keys from my Liteon Drive, then I think I messed up somewhere around the Erase/Write part.

Now, when I boot with my keygrabber with USB & SATA connect to my computer, it lags horribly. And I cannot seem to figure out how to boot/flash in DOS mode, is that the only option?

Please advise!
Ranger72
Dos is your only option now. See if your answer is in THIS thread.

Thanks for your input,

I'm trying to follow the post you gave me, I have the 3 or 4 files, but what is the "hacked firmware file"?

Thanks in advanced!

The hacked firmware file is the ixtreme firmware you created from your dump files before you attempted to eras and flash your drive.

Hmm, crap. I'm not too sure where to find that. And thb, I'm not sure if I remember saving that file. Can I still create it from my keys?
vb_encryption_vb
if you have your keys your golden, but you have to do it in dos. or send it off to get it fixed.
DisturbedZen
Thanks,

How would I do that in DOS?
Ranger72
You should have 3 files from your Liteon dump. Key.bin, Indentify.bin, and Inquiry.bin, You can use these to created a dummy.bin file and iXtreme file from the FirmwareTool 32 within Jungle Flasher.

Thanks Ranger,

Will the file output be Lite_CFW.bin? Seems like its only 256kb, is that right? I think I just created it. Is that the "hacked firmware" I will need?

256kb is the right size. If that is the file that was made from your dump files then that is what you will want to flash to your drive.

Thanks Ranger,

I am still at a loss when it comes to making the bootable DOS drive. I just cant seem to figure how to use iPrep correctly.

I am trying to follow...

http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=599152

But I just cant seem to find a Samsung or any ixtreme firmware that will help me use iPrep to boot. I did find xtreme10a.bin but that didn't seem to work. It still stated Not a bootable firmware.

Bump?

there are many ways to create a bootable pen drive , try the tutorial here , then once you have done that..........

Download the file ixtreme15.RAR from team-xecuter.com

Open up the file and extract the folder DOS
Put the contents of the DOS folder into the root of your bootable USB stick
Copy your created hacked.bin ( or whatever you have named it ) file into your bootable USB stick

Now turn Off your drive

Load up your newly made DOS bootable USB stick
Wait for the C: or A: to appear
At the prompt type in L-O-eras.exe ( address of your sATA card )

For example -----> L-O-eras.exe 9000

Before you press Enter turn On the drive

Press Enter, it should say FF80 or FFFF
Type in L-O-eras.exe ( sATA card address ) again and press Enter
Should now show FF72 or something with 72 in it

Turn Off the connectivity kit and back On
( this is important or else it’ll say unknown chip type when trying to flash )

Now at the command prompt type dosflash and press Enter

Press N (if it asks) until it asks what number drive you are using
It will then give you options of Write or Erase etc....
Press W for write and it’ll ask for filename

If it says unknown chip type you didn’t power the drive Off/On

Type in the name hacked.bin or whatever you called your modded file
Press Enter and it’ll begin to erase then write the 4 banks
Once it shows a checksum the jobs a good one

Turn off the connectivity kit and reboot windows
Put Xbox back together and test
