I am in the midst of flashing my lite-on using the ck3. I have installed PortIO after uninstalling my VIA drivers. I am using the VIA 6421A card. When I plug everything in and press the eject button, I see a light on the DVD flash twice but no eject. I have made sure to plug the power in the right way.

Anyway to get the tray ejected and JF recognizing it?

Sounds like you have a faulty CK3....If the ck3 is faulty obviously it is, I would put flashing on hold and RMA it, wait for a new one to show up. Do you have another drive you can test this on to see if the eject button is faulty? If the eject button is faulty there is no telling what else could be busted.

Thanks. I have figured out the problem.

The eject button was not working at first, but once I made sure the dvd tray was completely closed and trying a different molex connector, it worked.

Also only one of my three sata ports on my VIA card was able to dump the key effectively.

Otherwise- I've got everything working!
