Full Version: Tsop Bios That Will Allow Unlocked Drive

Hello,

I have an Xbox that I like to flash the TSOP on. I am looking for the name/version of a bios that will allow me to run it wit an unlocked Hard drive, run XBMC and play games. I don't want a locked HDD because I would like the option of putting in a HDD that does offer locking. I am cheap and I would like to just put any drive that is laying around or I can get for free.

I have done 7-8 softmods and 1 TSOP previous to this. I know how to do it but I don't know what bios to use.

So I am looking for a bios that will
run unlocked Hard drives
Allow XBMC to run.
Allow me to play games.

IF I install the Cromwell bios will I be able to run these programs?
I am pretty sure from looking around it can do it but I would like to make sure before I flash it.

Thank you for your response.

Cromwell is for running Linux. not games / XBMC.

All hacked BIOSes will do what you want.

Use X2.5035 for 1.0/1.1, iND-BIOS.5003 for 1.2-1.5.

i second that!
though i have yet to use iND but i have heard good things
also evox m8 or an older (256kb) x2 bios though i would try iND first cuz it seems m8 has limited options and i would never recommend going with an older bios.
but yeah, Heimdall's the man to listen to

Iīm using the evox.m8plus.fc.137.bin bios for my Xbox and itīs all fine. Take this one. Its supprting large drives. At first I used the X2.4983.06 Bios. Ist runs fine again but without support for large HD. With that Bios I canīt format end edit custom patitions( with XBP) because of no lba 48 support or something like that.
With the EVOX.M8PLUS.FC.137 bios all runs fine.

I think that you should use the EVOX BIOS.

My Xbox (1000GB HD) runs fine with that Bios.

X2_5035 and iND BIOSes are the best options for TSOP flashing (depending on which revision motherboard you have).

They're the most recent BIOSes that were released for XB1 and are both highly customizeable.
