would it be possible to just splice the red and black from another fan to the red and black on the 360 fan and get results? i tried splicing with a USB, which works and I can use it but it doesn't get enough power it seems as the fan runs very slowly.

If i did this would the fan speed up and slow down as needed, and would it even work period?

i wouldnt bother. each fan would only run at half the speed it is meant to (if they even receive enough power to spin)

yea, i ended up wiring it to a 12V wall adapter and mounting it to the top of the case, cut out a spot for it on top with the dremel.

it's ugly as sin but its not overheating :-D
