ive tried to find out what bios i have but it comes up as unknown bios what is the best bios to flash a Aladdin xt/clone im not sure if is a clone or not and its not a 1.6 xbox its before i remember that much but at this point cant remember exactly i tend to use the xbox as a video clip/ multimedia system more than games

Any 256k BIOS should work. If your Xbox is a 1.0-1.5 have a look at iND-BIOS.5003, X2.4981 and Evox M8+. My personal preference is iND-BIOS.5003 because you can configure it from a text file on C without reflashing, but it's your choice.

If it turns out to be a 1.6 your only choice is Evox M8+1.6.

I recall a thread in the last 6-8 months about problems flashing some clones - you may want to do some more research before you start.

thanks for the reply its defiantly a pre 1.6 and i decided to check if i could flash it and i can im thinking a evox m8 for it
