This question is for anyone familiar with Windows activation routines. Specifically XP because MS made things a little easier by combining every install with Vista. Anyways! The question is this. If I took my full, legally purchased, RETAIL copy of XP Home and Professional and modify the SETUPP.ini pid to accept OEM keys will those installs be able to activate or will you have to go through the telephone crap?
