Getting an open tray error on a 360 console.

I open the drive and see that it has no red light on the sensor when something is inserted... does this mean the laser is fried?

I took the POT reading and it said 2.91. I was unable to calibrate it higher or lower.

The console was sealed prior to me opening it.. I opened another sealerd console the other day that read 2.86 and it works fine.

But yea I guess its fried there is no red light.

Do you know if you can swap boards for a samsung with 25 fw for a samsung with 28 fw and get it working?
