Also if some new games don't work then you need to update to the latest flash.

ok thanks. So if I upgrade to the latest flash all games would work?

I don't actually have a dev kit but I was just think that if a dev kit had its kernel dumped with infectus and then couldn't people flash that kernel to a cygnos 360 chip and have any xbox act as a dev kit?

They run unsigned code, and I heard that you can play games directly off of the hard drive with no need for the disc so.... why hasn't this been done yet? blink.gif

Yes update and all games should work just fine.

Also about using a dev kernel on a retail,it simply will not work, you really think it would be that easy.

The devs and retails have different efuses that are blown/still left in tact, ect. There are many differences in the inner working of the console. On most devs there are more and different type of connectors on the motherboard, to hook up things like a side car.

Yeah you can play games off the hard drive, BUT you can't play them on LIVE with your friends like you think you can. And it does run unsigned dev code.
