Hello, my Wii is running ver. 3.1U and I would like to softmod it. However, my SD card is 4GB and won't recognize by the Wii (I have tried formatting it, adding a dummy file, and everything). Is there any way of getting this to work without having to go out and buy a smaller card lol

Can't edit but I thought it would be best for an update.

I got another SD card and things seem to be working fine. You only need a SD card that is less than 2GB to get the Homebrew channel, after that, you can use whatever card you wish.

You can now update officially to 4.X and use the banner bomb exploit. I think this would save you the trouble of having a non HC SD card (2gb or less)
