I had a friend tell me that i need to reflash my 360 for newer games. Is this real? if so can someone link me to a tutorial or information page..

You will need to flash your drive with 1.51 or later to play the new games. Just download ixtreme 1.6 (1.51 for hitachi) and jungleflasher and follow this guide
