Is this software really to be trusted to check our games?

I'm randomly checking games from earlier this year and supposedly it needs to download the ss, but xbc passed it the first time around..why the sudden need to download a newer ss? How are we to be certain it's not adding something so M$ can detect me or you?

If you ripped it from your original, and it passes stealth check, thats all you need.
