I have a Xbox 1.3 that i flashed the TSOP with iND-BiOS.5003.06.
I changed the HDD to a 160gb one and made sure it all worked. Then i put the mobo and everything back into the box and was about to use AID to install XMBC etc. I plugged the power cord in but when i plugged the av cable in sparks came out and the power went out.. Now when i turn the Xbox on out of the box it reboots twice and then flashes red and green and i get no sound/video but i can eject the dvd drive. I have tired filling 6 holes with solder and making sure its all plugged in right and swapping my old HDD back in. I have a Aladdin super live mod chip but im waiting till the Xbox crystal i bought off ebay for £17 gets here. Just in case its a 1.6 Xbox. I would if possible like to get my 1.3 Xbox working again.

Update it looks like the encoder is fried it gets so hot that it can burn me.
Any one know if i can replace the chip? and if so where to buy one cheap?

Update i can get the Xbox to turn onto green flashing lights sometimes and the encoder is a little warm.
So im now thinking it may not be the encoder
