Total noob at modding an Xbox, but I managed to get XBMC to boot. Normally I would be done, but there doesn't seem to be any cursor or any way to know what item I have selected on the screen!

I can choose things, but I have to guess so its trial and error.

You know how in a GUI the items you select get either highlighted or glow when you are on them? Yea, none of that is happening.

I managed to trial and error my way to the screen where I can switch themes and its the same with both themes?

What did I do wrong?

Well, that's an odd one.

Which XBMC revision did you install?

Does the system boot directly to XBMC, or does it load up some other dashboard first?

I followed this guide here but my only modification to the guide was I install the XBMC folder to E:\apps instead of replacing the full dashboard.

As it says in the guide, I got the XBMC build from T3CH's site

I used the latest one. I gotta say, this problem is incredibly odd. It makes trying to type on the virtual keyboard to point XBMC to shares completely impossible as you don't know what letter you are selecting.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

I got a build from the nightly build site instead and it uses a different theme that works fine
