I'm playing a backup copy of Burnout Paradise. The first time I played it everything was okay. Then everytime I played it the car would only move in reverse. It just won't go forward. How do I get the car to move forward instead of backwards?

I also tried the bike once. This moves forward.

change the gear into one of 1 though 5.

Thanks for reply. I've tried all the buttons but can't find the gear shift.

When I press RT (throttle) the front wheels won't move (stuck) but the back wheels keep turning. When I press LT it starts to move in reverse effortlessly. And even when I don't press LT anymore it keeps moving in reverse faster and faster. One more thing too. The game tells me I cannot connect to Burnout servers. Could this be the problem?

nar burnout server is just for playing online.
Stick the orignal back in, If it still does it then its your controller, Probly has a button shorting out.

WOW!! You are absolutely right. The controller was faulty.

I have 2 controllers and tried the other one. It played perfectly. Then I tried the old controller again and the problem came back. So it indeed was a problem with the controller.
