Hi, just had a question about swapping out drives. Correct me if I'm wrong but...

-All I need is the drive key of the original drive, spoof it onto the BenQ and spoof it as Hitachi/Samsung (one is hitachi one is samsung). I can do all this in Jungle flasher or 360 firmware toolkit without having to solder or anything extreme.

Anything else I need to know to do this?

Yes, If you have right equipment, like CK3 connectivity kit or other. rolleyes.gif

What would I need CK3 for? I've modded drives using the 360 to power it. I know that NXE can "flag" for unplugging the drive, but I never got banned for it.

If you feel good in that way, go for it. I never work in that way without soldering. rolleyes.gif

Soldering? ¿que?

I'm not playing with the lite-on drive so there's no key extraction. I'm a little fuzzy on what you're implying though. I though all I did was plug it in, click a few buttons in Jungle flasher/firmware toolkit and done. I've never spoofed before though and I've never replaced a drive.

Alrighty Nagamin, still don't know what you're talking about and my drives are all swapped and done with.

Thanks?
