Hi,

Don't know if this is in the right section, if not please move it.

Recently soft-modded my Xbox using Kryzie Ndure and installed XBMC.
I then decided to install a larger hard-drive using xboxhdm, all seemed to go well but when I rebooted the xbox from the new drive, instead of going to XBMC, it booted to the normal Xbox desktop.

Any ideas how I can get back to XBMC without going through the soft-mod procedures again?

Cheers,

Steve

You use files from shadow C when you prepared the xboxhdm disc. Disable shadowC by running e:\ndts\default.xbe and attempt the hdd upgrade again.

Sorry but I'm a newbie when it comes to Xbox modding, I don't seem to have a ndts folder on he e drive.
Could you let me have step by step instructions?

Cheers,

Run E:\Apps\Extras\default.xbe.

If you don't have E:\Apps\Extras\, then create the folder and copy Extras from the Krayzie installer.b

If your original drive is still how it is supposed to be, I made a video on YouTube that could really help you out. I know it helped me out, anyway ( laugh.gif ).

The procedure is all just on your system, and the only additional supplies you need are a source of power for the hard drive and "plyers" if you are like me and cannot get that pesky little power connector off of the hard drives (only really even a question if the power connector you plan to use is already plugged into something).

The whole process is a lot more simple that I just made it sound.

Have a great time with that! Enjoy all your emulators, games, and more with a larger more powerful hard drive as assisted in the creation process by me.
