im guessing there no other tuts so im trying to do it via the xboxhacker site.
i have to use degraded 1.1 in this tutorial
everytime i try to open my original nand or any other nand dump i get an MFC application error using any version of Degraded. Anyone have a clue why. I have tried 3 different computers. It always happens when I try to open the NAND file. I cant be because my original nand is corrupt as i tried the donor nand and it does exactly the same thing. I have tried degraded 1.1 and 1.1b
anyone else know what to do

you need to at least input the 1BL key into degraded or flashtool if you haven't already. I was having this error as well until I did this. Though I cannot post the 1BL key here as it is something that is forbidden here at X-S though a quick google search should help you out if you don't feel like flashing Xell to your 360 to find it out as the 1BL key is the same for all 360s.
Edit: I should say that I think to rebuild your nand you need a lot more than just the 1BL to rebuild your image, this is just a fix for degraded so you don't get this error.
