Ok, I have a few quick questions for some of the pros on here. I currently have 2 xbox 360's and i was thinking about maybe modding one of them. If I happen to get banned then I have the other one to fall back on. Now for the question. How does Microsoft know if your console is possibly modded?? I have heard that most people that get banned are the ones that play games before their release date or they don't have the finished version of the game. But suppose I mod my xbox but still play the legit games I already own. Like say I just play Modern Warfare for a year on it. Does Microsoft notice that the xbox is modded or the game your using is modded???

It is my understanding that if you mod your xbox dvd drive but then never play a burned game you have close to a zero risk of being banned. The reason for this is that the iXtreme firmware runs all of the original firmware command when an original is inserted.
