I pre-ordered Tekken 6 limited edition. However my xbox is flashed to 1.6 on a Benq drive. Do I need to use a one shot boot disc even if I am using a retail game disc? Also is it save to go online if I use one shot boot disc?

i think if your drive is already flashed and you want to play wave 4(original)...

if i read correctly before you will still need the one-shot boot cd.

it is because the ix1.6 reads the disc and mistakenly think its a bad rip and wont boot.
