That's a great looking xbox, but we'll wait to see when you get the cooling because its all about the temps. Are you going to make it fully internal?

I am putting the dvd drive into a HD-DVD drive like Grim187 did.
All liquid cooling parts will be fully internal.
I am going to try to fit 2 80mm rads in there and a res.
This is why the drive has to be relocated.
I am going to take my time i'm in no hurry.
I own 4 xbox 360's
So no rush needed.

Does Anyone know of a tiny Res that i could pic up.
That can be laid down flat on its side?

I would really like to hear from some senior members here.

I have been checking out these forums for sometime now.
I usually just read and mark threads to my favs that I am going to try.
Thought heck I might as well show off what i'm doing.

Its going to be a huge money pit.
So Far I can tell you I have spent......

$250.00 in chrome alone
$299.00 for the Xbox 360 about 2 Years Ago.
$200.00 On ebay for all the fan mods and clear case in my first go around.
$380.00 Reciently For All the parts listed above.

And i'm sure there will be more unseen problems that will arise........LoL

Yes I do have a problem though...........I'm broke now.
But I will be having some fun this weekend.

One of the ideas I had that I thought would be pretty cool is.
I bought a sickmods fader 360.
What I was thinking of doing is connect this bad boy to my secondary smd's on my ROL.
But only soldering in 3 of them.
Obviously Red!!!

The idea was so that when the Xbox 360 is off it will mimic the RROD on the ROL.
I thought it would be kinda different what do you guys think?

Haha definitely go with that ROL idea. It'll be like the beast showing its one weak point. By the way, you need to get a custom DVD drive cut going on there. Yea, its chrome, but its an XCM cover. Other than, looking and sounding solid.

EDIT: I'm a mod at Llamma, if that makes you feel better...

just fyi almost all replacement cases are crap and fall apart really easy, so be careful when taking it apart/putting it together or working on it.

Yeah I thought you guys would like that ROL idea.

I just found out that liquid cooling can be exspensive.

As far as the DVD drive......Maybe I will do a custom cut window like grim did if he made a nice TUT that
would be awesome.

The XCM cover is weak I know but it is customized in chrome.....LoL

Minor setback as the parts roll in and getting a layout of were everything is going to be installed at.

My radiator has a 1/4'' tube outlet.
Yet a 1/4'' tube does not sit on there nice and tight.
Kinda wierd....hmmmm

A friend of mine said to epoxy the tubes to the radiator.
The radiator is copper though.
I'm thinking JB weld for the heat and it would bond better to the copper.

Any suggestions wold ne great thanks Guys.............

well does your radiator have barbs? use those zip ties or tube clamps to hold it to the barb.

No Barb its Straight out of the Radiator with 1/4'' copper pipe.

the 1/4'' tubining does not sit perfectly tight on the radiator.

So either
1 (JB Weld the tube to radiator)
2 (Epoxy the tube to the radiator)

Only Options......

Please keep in mind this is a Generation 1 XBOX 360 90nm CPU-90 nm GPU.
Believe it or not it has never seen RROD but it runs HOT!!!
Does Anyone know what temp the 1st generation 360's ran at STOCK?

Its been almost 2 weeks...........

Having Problems getting my XERC CME SE for Xbox360 to work.

Has anyone ever delt with this piece from sickmods.net.

The idea is cool but geese the support is horrible.

I just installed the XERC CME SE in my XBOX 360.

Followed all diagrams.
When I power it on the SL blinks 4 times....GOOD
I can't control it at all no leds blink.

I know that my solder points are good I double checked them.
I did notice that I missed the PO point solderd that and still nothing.

Can't even get it into config mode.

I am using a xbox30 mediacenter remote.
