I have used one but it isn't any good for flashing drives. (well it might work on hitachi's but thats it)

What is it you want to use it for?

usb to sata only works for hitachi drives, that is a 3 in 1 adaptor that is not recommended by the jf team as they will not ram upload so will not work for 78/79 hitachi, google usb2 to esata bridge adaptor , you will need esata to sata lead and this is for all hitachis but no other drives.

The cable uses a JMicron controller, but either way isn't much use except for Hits. Better to get an internal Via based one.
