Does this work well?? as long as you have a decent internet connection? how do you do it just with IP address? I thought any ping rate over 50 the game gets booted??? nobodys cable is going to be that good, so I guess this is useless unless you have a T3?
majinsoftware
Yeah you need a good ping, I think the limits like 100. Its all explained in google how to do it.

If I was to use XBConnect and IRC network can I connect to say my friend some where far away not just in the same town and play with them coop online using my Backups or Originals any one would be fine ?
majinsoftware
If your pings below the system link limit.

xlink kai and XBconnect only officially support a handful of 360 games and don't have many players at all.
But with the new waves of bannings I could see people flocking to these. If it's ever going to catch on though, it would need to be organized with online gathering/tournaments. Getting hundreds on at a time. If it gains popularity it could be great.

Xlinks works great for me, I play mw2 with people from all over the UK without lag, you just have to link up with people in the same country etc.

Its steadily growing by the day aswell maybe because of the ban hammer.

Check it out.

hey im from the uk and just been banned, is there many uk'ers on there? and does xlink have a uk only room?

xrkahn76
Yes, the nice think about Xlink is that it has Arenas subdivided by system/ game type/game/region of the world.

Just follow the options when you log into the GUI.

Right now, PSP and the game monster hunter have the most users, but 360 /MW2 has alot! Just find UK or where ever you live

Yeah it has a UK only Arena, you just need to get on at the right times, usually people go on there later on in the day around 9 or 10pm+ ... we get like 12... 14 player games going, not bad.

If your Ping is 31, Just keep trying to join the room and if your ping dips for a second your in. Also close all browsers/bittorrents/messangers etc and just run Xlinks.
