please ensure you have the latest dashboard (you should have by now!) or this wont work!

also each game is around 7gb on the hard drive so watch your space if you have a 20gb console!

insert your game disc if it automatically loads go back to the dashboard using the guide button on your controller once it shows you the game press Y it will present with three options one of them being 'install to hard drive'


but i must warn you, you still have to have the disc in the drive as the xbox 360 verifies the presence of the game disc, also each time you want to play off the hard drive you have to use the Y option and choose 'play game from hard drive'

might be a good idea in disabling auto booting in system settings if you plan on using the hard drive to play games!

is there a way to do it without the disk like putting the game's iso on the harddrive with a computer
