I recently was banned on live so I decided to downgrade my 1.6 firmware to 1.51 so as to avoid using the active iso. I am a huge fan and supporter of Frosty The Snowman's work and have used his releases since 1.5, however I'm trying to use mod disc 1.53 do downgrade and when I enter my VIA sata port # it says
"cant open T:\Sata.bat"
if I continue anyways and enter my com port it says
"cant open T:\com.bat"
I've used the disc with success before but it was on a different computer. I don't have access to that computer any longer however the computer I tried it on this time has successfully done several boxes using frosty's 1.6 usb releases (lite-ons included).
What would cause these errors? I know the disc works. I know my ports are correct. Where along this line am I either creating an error, or is the disc having an error working with my computers hardware.
Is it possible to make the iso image bootable via usb?
