ok lol. I took out my jewel and am in the process of polishing it. my simple question deals with the simple attachment of the jewel.

HOW do i attach it back?? I have a hole and now how do i put it back on.
I'm using my yearly newb pass on this question. Please answer back. Thanks.

did you leave a lip for it to sit on?

nope. you know the whole you see in mastermods. I just have a hole there i forgot to leave a piece. Am i screwed or what. Ive seen people have a hole in it before. I'm planning on getting the halo lights from mastermods or making the leds myself. Will this allow me to clip the jewel on it?

eww, without that lip is just gonna slide through that whole, so that jewel is pretty much toast. Try to find a way to superglue it back in

they have a gaping hole. How would they add the jewel back on. I have seen these type of pictures in a lot of places.

well i can easily add a lip, but my new question is... why can't you visibly notice it when someone has it with leds on. I mean if you had a lip wouldn't it be dark in the spot where the lip resides. I want to put leads underneath and not make a noticeable lip shadow appear in the middle.

i believe my last question was valid. people out there want to know little answers like this to clear up doubts before taking out the jewel. can someone please answer.

LED light comes from all around, so no shadow.

and that gaping hole you refer to still has a lip for the jewel to sit on

just take a pease of plexiglass and stick it under the jewel glue to the plexiglass and glue that plexi to the xbox case
now you it fits again you can round the plexiglas so your leds wil shyng true.
